Lawshall Village is halfway between Sudbury and Bury St. Edmunds, about a mile off the A134. The population is approximately between 900 and 1000.
Coming in to the village from the south and the A134, you pass the Swan Public House, All Saints Primary School and All Saints Church. There is then a wide gap with splendid views over farmland. In the northern part of the village there is The Glebe Estate, Playground and the Village Hall. Visitors to the village for the first time sometimes think they have missed their destination if it is in the 'second' (northern) part of the village.
Lawshall is unusual in that we have three Churches: All Saints CofE, The Free Church and the Roman Catholic Church.
There's always something happening in the village! If you're organising an event, and you'd like to tell people about it, please use the Event submission form and we'll add it to the 'What's on in Lawshall' page.
